Privacy Policy
Bible Verse Widgets is built to be a quiet, personal companion. We designed it to work without collecting your personal information — and this policy explains exactly what that means.
The short version: Your verses, saved favorites, reading progress, and preferences live on your device. We don't ask for an account, we don't sell data, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Information we don't collect
Bible Verse Widgets does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the app. Your saved verses, chosen themes, reading-plan progress, daily reflections, and notification settings are stored locally on your device and, if you enable it, synced privately through your own iCloud account — never to our servers.
Information processed to run the app
- Purchases. If you subscribe or make a purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive a confirmation that a purchase occurred, but never your payment-card details.
- Anonymous diagnostics. With your permission, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance data to help us fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity.
- Optional analytics. If we use analytics to understand which widget styles are popular, the data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you. You can opt out in the app's settings at any time.
Notifications
If you turn on daily verse reminders, your device schedules those notifications locally. Choosing the time and frequency happens entirely on your device; we do not see your schedule.
Widgets
Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets render verse content on your device using the app's built-in library. Adding a widget does not transmit any information about your home screen, your location, or your usage back to us.
Children's privacy
Bible Verse Widgets is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
